The Warmth of Taba

Looking for a sunny vacation in Egypt that isn't overrun with tourists? Then a vacation in Taba is ideal for you.

Taba is a coastal resort in northern Egypt, near to the Israeli and Jordanian borders. This makes it an ideal site for sunbathing while also seeing some of the Middle East's cultural treasures. Previously, the beachfront resort was mostly visited by Egyptians and Israelis, but today a growing number of Europeans are making their way there. You may experience the untouched beauty of the coral reefs and the desert because Taba is located at the northernmost point of the Gulf of Aqaba and in the east section of the Sinai Peninsula.

What to do in Taba

You don’t have to overthink about what to do there, you will have a variety of things to do like:

  • Pay a visit to Jerusalem.

Because of its position on the Israeli border, a day excursion to Jerusalem is conceivable. This is combined with visits to the Dead Sea and Bethlehem.

  • Pay a visit to Petra

When we chose to visit Taba, we knew we had to travel to Petra. At Petra, it's a lengthy day for such a short period of time. This is primarily due to the border crossing and the boat ride. But it was well worth the effort!

  • Safari in a desert jeep

Of course, when in Egypt, you must go on a jeep safari. Then you travel to Canyon Salama, where you go on a trek.

  • Scuba diving and snorkeling

Taba is a fantastic snorkeling and diving destination because of its unique location on the Red Sea. You could be able to experience the lovely undersea environment right in front of your hotel if you're lucky. Soak a day excursion on a boat to take in all this splendor.

  • Take advantage of the Sunshine

Taba is ideal for an old-fashioned beach and sun vacation owing to its special position. It was probably 25-30 degrees Celsius when we went in March. Taba is the ideal winter location for escaping the cold of Western Europe. You won't have to get up early in the morning to reserve a chair at the beach or by the pool because it's a lesser-known resort which means less people.

Taba's Gems

  • Fajord Bay

The Fjord Bay, 15 kilometers south of Taba, is one of the greatest swimming and relaxing sites in the area. It is also a superb diving spot with gorgeous coral reefs and amazing scenery. Fjord Bay will astonish you! The rich and colorful fish and corals will astound you whether you visit the Fjord Banana or the Fjord Hole, which is a vast coral bed 24-meters deep.

  • Castle Zaman

"Castle Zaman," one of Taba's most magnificent tourist spots, is a medieval castle constructed and erected on the top of a desert hill near the Nuweiba border so that you can enjoy the Taba beaches as well as the magnificence of the Nuweiba mountains.
